What to expect from  personal training or a group class with me

Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat.

Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow.

Routine is the enemy.

Keep workouts short and intense.

Regularly learn and play new sports.


I first started training with Ewan in November of 2010. From the very start my training with Ewan was very different to my previous trainer , he listened to what I had to say and explained why we were doing things. The biggest help were the simple diet tips, I have always battled with my weight and within the first three months lost more than 8kg. I love the sessions I have with Ewan, I’m always kept on my toes and never know what it coming up.
